Inspection, Trial Run and Acceptance Before Shipment

Every machine that leaves Wuxi Yuanding is released against four gates: incoming material check, machined-part check, assembled-unit check, and a loaded trial run on coil close to the purchase order. Acceptance (FAT) uses the same measured items as the trial. Certificates sit at the end of this page as an appendix; they are not the inspection record.

Incoming Material Inspection

Steel plate, shaft bar, blade stock, bearings, hydraulic components and electrical devices are checked against the purchase order before they enter machining or stores. A lot with no mill certificate, a mismatched nameplate, or a visible transport defect is held.

Heat numbers on bar and plate are copied onto the incoming sheet so they can be traced to the finished machine serial.

Inspection object Inspection items Acceptance criteria Record form
Steel plate and coil stock Grade, thickness, width vs PO; surface rust or dent; mill certificate attached Matches PO size and grade. Plate: thickness and width inside GB/T 709 for the ordered plate. Coil (GI / PPGI): thickness inside the mill-cert band on that heat (GB/T 2518 or EN 10143 as printed on the cert). Heat number readable; certificate attached to the lot. Incoming inspection sheet + mill certificate, heat number copied
Shaft bar (45#, GB/T 699) and blade stock (Cr12MoV) Diameter / section vs drawing; material mark; chemical-composition certificate Size inside drawing tolerance; grade mark matches the BOM; certificate heat number matches the stamped bar Incoming sheet with heat number
Bearings, hydraulic valves and cylinders, electrical devices Brand and model vs BOM; packaging intact; nameplate readable Exact model on the BOM; carton uncrushed; voltage and frequency on the nameplate match the order power spec Incoming sheet + nameplate photo when the model is non-standard

Parts Inspection

Shafts, rollers, cutting blades and welded frames are measured after machining and heat treatment, before they are issued to assembly. A shaft that fails runout is not chrome-plated and not mounted.

Hardness is read on the working face after temper, not on the raw bar. Roll contour is taken from the roll drawing, not from a visual pass.

Forming shafts (45#, φ70–100 mm by line class) Seat diameter vs drawing; TIR on the roll seat Diameter inside drawing limit; TIR ≤ 0.05 mm on the roll seat (dial indicator, shaft on centers or V-blocks) Shaft inspection card, keyed to machine serial
Rollers and cutoff blades Roll contour vs roll drawing; surface after grind and chrome; hardness after heat treatment Contour within ±0.02 mm of the roll drawing; hard-chrome on 45# rollers nominally 0.05 mm, thickness written on the roll card; face Ra ≤ 0.8 μm; Cr12MoV working face HRC 58–62 after temper, read to GB/T 230.1 Dimension sheet + hardness reading with date
Welded frames and bases (Q235) Weld completeness after stress relief; datum-face flatness; hole position after CNC No incomplete weld or crack on load paths; datum flatness to the machining drawing; hole coordinates inside GB/T 1804-m unless the drawing states tighter Frame inspection sheet after machining

Assembly Inspection

The line is checked as built: roll stations on the base, drive train, hydraulic circuit, and the electrical cabinet. This gate is dry - no coil.

Misaligned stations and leaking fittings are corrected here so the loaded trial measures the profile, not the fit-up. The cabinet is walked point-to-point against the as-built electrical drawing.

Loaded Trial Run

The complete line runs coil in the same thickness band and coating family as the order. Judgement is on the section that leaves the last stand and on the cut, not on an empty jog.

Punch checks apply only when the order includes a punch unit. Sample length is recorded against the HMI setpoint.

Factory Acceptance Test

FAT is the release decision before dispatch. The buyer may stand at the line, or review a video of the same run plus the signed measurement sheet.

The items on the FAT list are the loaded-trial items plus machine identity and the document pack. A third-party inspector (SGS, Bureau Veritas, or the body named on the PO) attends only when the purchase order writes that attendance.

Records Shipped with the Machine

The file that travels is tied to the machine serial on the nameplate. It is not a company brochure.

A copy stays in Wuxi under the same serial.
